Next Dying Light 2 Stream Coming In July

Dying Light 2 developer Techland has announced in a press release that the second episode of its Dying 2 Know show is coming next month.

Not much else was shared in the pressed release, although rumors suggest that the show will focus on the different kinds of infected you’ll encounter throughout the game. The stream is due to premiere on July 1 at 12PM PT/ 3PM ET/ 9PM CEST and you’ll be able to watch the show on Techland’s official Twitch channel. The stream will run for 30 minutes and won’t feature a pre-show, so make sure you’re on time so you don’t miss anything.

Techland’s openness about Dying Light 2’s development has been quite refreshing and, as a result, we actually know quite a bit about the world of Dying Light 2. For example, a couple of recent Q&A videos revealed a number of interesting gameplay tidbits, including a lack of firearms and the game’s map size.

We also know a rough outline of the story thanks to these Q&A videos. Set 20 years after the events of the first game, Dying Light 2 has you playing a freelance runner named Aiden Caldwell. As Caldwell, you’ll encounter different factions that you can work with that will change the look and feel of the city you explore. We also found out that characters from the first game will not appear, although they will be referenced.

Hopefully, this new stream at the beginning of July will offer up even more information about Dying Light 2 and what to expect before the game releases.

After a lack of news for a significant amount of time, Dying Light 2’s official release date was finally announced last month. Barring any late delays, Dying Light 2 is set to release on December 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

Those playing on older systems will be pleased to know that Techland also recently confirmed that anyone playing the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game will be able to upgrade to the next-gen version for free once they purchase a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S.
