After entering Door 7 with Seven and Clover, you will be in the Operating Room. Here, you will need to search through medical equipment and find your way to freedom. In this guide, we are going to go over a complete walkthrough of how to escape the Operating Room in Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors.

This room has quite a lot of items that need to be collected, but we are here to guide you to avoid any confusion. As usual, this guide does not contain any plot information, so you can learn how to escape without looking at any spoilers. First, let's get a feel for the Operating Room and take a quick look at its layout.

Operating Room Layout

The Operating Room is a large area that contains a curtain partition, two operating tables, supplies, and a cabinet filled with medicine. On the operating tables, you will find two medical mannequins, named Lucy and John.

Along the wall to the right of the entrance, you will find two additional doors. The door closest to the entrance is the chemical closet, filled with a variety of chemicals and a locked safe that has a three-number passcode. Behind the other door lies a preparation room, containing a desk, lockers, and some tables.

Now that we know the basic layout of the Operating Room, let's figure out how to escape.

How To Escape The Study

Once Clover and Seven are done speaking, face the right and grab the chest lying on a table. From here, turn left until you see a table filled with medical supplies. Grab the scissor-like objects, called Kocher forceps.

With these forceps, you can now turn left again and look at the medical mannequin with exposed organs. Using your forceps, remove a lung of the mannequin.

Now, take a look at the table with medical supplies directly in front of the medical mannequin. Here, you will find a scalpel that can be added to your inventory.

Combine the scalpel and organ, and you will find the organ key. This can now be used to open the chemical closet room.

Once in this room, grab two bottles of liquid sitting on the middle table, along with the note nearby. The two bottles will be used in the other room. Reading the note provides you with a hint as to what the safe code below is.

Around the room, you can find clues as to what the solution is as well. Be sure to click on all the books and papers that you see.

To solve this, you need to find the number of atoms in carbon dioxide, ammonia, and ethanol. If this sounds difficult, don't worry! Seven and Clover will help you find the solution. If you know some basic chemistry, you can also use this knowledge to help solve the puzzle.

Inputting 349 into the safe will cause it to open, revealing a fake heart and fake right arm.

Grab both of these parts, leave the chemical closet, and head towards the preparation room now. This is the other door in Operation Room, found to the far left of the chemical closet.

Enter into this room and open the desk drawer to your left. Inside, you will find a medical record chart that will be added to the file screen.

On a table nearby, you will also find a beaker with some equipment. This is part of the puzzle involving the colored lockers to your right. Using the red and blue liquids that you picked up earlier, you will need to make the colors that correspond with each door. Once you make the correct color, the door to the locker will unlock.

First, pour the red liquid to get the fake leg. Next, remove the red liquid and pour in the blue liquid to get the other fake leg. Finally, mix the red in again with the blue to create purple, allowing you to get the fake stomach.

Once this is done, head to the main operating room and interact with the Lucy mannequin laying underneath a white sheet. Use the parts that you have to complete her body.

Now you are almost done! The final step is to switch the body parts from both Lucy and John, so they match the medical record that you found in the preparation room.

To successfully solve the puzzle, you need to switch every part from one of the mannequins except for the heart. Both mannequins have the correct heart, but every other part is incorrect. John's weight should display as 51.2kg, and Lucy's weight should display as 53.2kg.

After solving the puzzle, you will be rewarded with the Jupiter Key, allowing you to escape the Operating Room.
