Nintendo Switch stock has been selling thick and fast whenever it has become available to buy. At the time of writing there are no UK retailers with stock of the red box Nintendo Switch available to buy. A number of online shops like the official Nintendo store do have Switch Lite consoles available at the moment though, which you can purchase by clicking here.
However, if you’re looking for the Nintendo Switch console that comes with a dock and can hook up to your TV then you’re out of luck.
Stores such as Very, Currys and Maplin have in the past week received Switch red box stock – but this sold out at lightning fast speeds.
If you want to be first in line when Nintendo Switch stock does becomes available then you can set up alerts with Stock Informer and HotUKDeals.
But even if you do there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to purchase a Switch, with stock sometimes selling out in a matter of minutes.

Besides increased demand due to so many people being at home due to coronavirus lockdowns, another factor has reportedly had an impact on stock levels.
Reports have indicated that Nintendo Switch stock is selling out fast partly due to automated bots that pick up consoles the moment they become available to buy.
This could be helping resellers who are listing the Switch right now at hugely marked up prices as the stock shortages continue.
But, in welcome news, Nintendo has revealed that they are preparing to boost production of the Switch to meet increased demand.
The comments come courtesy of a post by Nikkei, with a Nintendo spokesperson saying they hoped suppliers “will be responsive to the production increase”.
However, the Ninty rep added the caveat: “For procurement of some parts, the outlook remains uncertain, and we can’t forecast exactly how many Switches can be supplied”.
Nintendo said they hoped to produce 10 per cent more Switch units in 2020, which would be an increase on the 20million produced last year.
The House of Mario previously revealed they hoped to sell over 100million Switch units during the console’s lifetime.
At last count the Switch had sold over 52million units since launching 2017, with this figure revealed during fiscal results published at the end of January.
And it’ll be interesting to see – given the recent stock shortages and increased demand – how much this overall sales tally will get bolstered when Nintendo publishes their next quarterly financial results.
