Pokemon Legends: Arceus – How To Get Hisuian Braviary

Pokemon Legends: Arceus brings classic pokemon across the region of Hisui, and twists the formula with regional variants that can dramatically change what we once thought we knew about them. From different typing to new moves and evolutionary forms, many of the pokemon that come back from older games will do it in a slightly different fashion.

However, due to the slight changes in this region, the Hisuian Braviary will sport a different type and appearance, showing some colorful flames in the forehead and a different color in its feathers.

How To Get Rufflet

The tiny bird Rufflet will be easy to spot, but you need to play for a fair bit if you want to catch it. To successfully find this pokemon you must have access to one of the later stages in the game, the Alabaster Icelands. There, Rufflet will spawn between the levels of 24 and 73 (that's some range), and will be roaming around the following zones:

  • Alabaster Icelands
    • Lake Acuity
    • Heart's Crag

After having caught your Rufflet, next you have to level it up to level 54 so it can evolve to Hisuian Braviary, which can take a bit of fighting or farming some EXP Candies. Now having a Psychic/Flying type, this pokemon will have access to moves like Brave Bird, Double-Edge, Roost, and the new movement Esper Wing, a Psychic attack of 75 power and 90 accuracy that will have a higher chance of landing a critical hit.

Alternatively, Hisuian Braviary can be found flying high in the sky in the following zones of the Alabaster Icelands:

    • Alabaster Icelands
      • Lake Acuity

If you want to catch it in this already evolved form, it is highly recommended to equip yourself with a ton of Feather/Wing/Jet Balls since it will fly very high, and try to throw them from the balcony of Snowpoint Temple to have a better reach.
