Those selected will get sent a unique code which lets them order a PS5 from their local Currys store.
Explaining how the PS5 VIP Pass draw works Currys said: “We’ll select lucky entrants at random and email a VIP Pass to them. This will contain a unique PS5 buying code, along with details of the local Currys PC World store to buy the PS5 from.
“PS5 passes will be valid for 72 hours. So if you get one, be quick!”
The Currys PS5 news has kicked off what could be another big week for PlayStation 5 stock hunters.
GAME are rumoured to be dropping more PS5 stock this week, with 12,000 consoles allegedly up for grabs and available to purchase soon.
While Argos are also rumoured to be in the process of sending PS5 stock to its stores up and down the country in preparation of its next stock drop.
Amazon, meanwhile, are also rumoured to be getting another PS5 restock – but this is expected to happen in the first week of April.
In other PS5 news, the flurry of restocks that have been heading to the UK have had one, big positive effect.
Even if you haven’t managed to pick up a PS5 in these recent restocks the extra supply is helping to seriously drive down the resale prices – which should in turn deter scalpers as it makes purchasing a PS5 and reselling it far less profitable and appealing.
Which can only be good news for genuine gamers who are eager to get hold of a PS5 but haven’t had any luck as of yet.
