This week saw the release of a new event for Warframe and a somber update for the annual Tennocon.
Like many other companies this year, the developers of Digital Extremes has announced on the game’s site that Tennocon 2020 will not have a attendee portion to the event in light of the Coronavirus. While the physical portion of the event has been canceled they are still keeping the virtual portion and if anything are looking to expand it.
They’ve also reassured fans that they will continue to support local charity partners, even though the physical event has been cancelled. They haven’t stated what they’ll be doing but promised to have further details.
In better news Warframe is launching a Spring Dojo Contest. Players can decorate their Clan Dojo to participate in one of five themed competitions; Ghost, Shadow, Storm, Mountain, and Moon. Winners will have their Dojo featured on the Star Chart for others to see, Trophies, and a warehouse of resources to cut down on farming for the winning clan. The contest closes April 23.
There have been a few rounds of updates fixing some minor bugs and quality of life issues. They did optimize network connections for Relay, Towns, and Dojos likely to help clans come together to decorate their Dojos for the event.
The Scarlet Spear event is still going strong and offers interesting content and rewards for players who are still interested.
