Destiny 2: Where Is Xur This Week? Exotic Items / Location Guide (Oct. 23-27)

The details about the Beyond Light expansion coming to Destiny 2 are starting to pour out at a faster clip. You’ve still got some time to take advantage of the Festival of the Lost and Xur’s Exotic offerings, however. Head to the EDZ, to the Winding Cove area, to find Xur this week. For his weapon, Xur is offering Cerberus+1. Hunters can pick up the Lucky Pants leg armor; for Titans, there’s the Heart of Innermost Light chest armor; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Felwinter’s Helm helmet.

Xur Location

Spawn in at the Winding Cove transmat zone in the EDZ and head north to find Xur. Hit the northern side of the zone and scale the rock wall until you reach a crashed Fallen dropship. You’ll find Xur standing beside it, surveying the area.

Xur Exotic Items

Xur’s weapon this week, Cerberus+1, is a powerful auto rifle that sprays a ton of bullets, shooting a bit erratically from four barrels at once. If you want an overwhelming wall of lead, it’s a good choice. But if you’re not a fan of his other options, Xur also sells an Exotic engram that will decrypt into an Exotic you don’t already own. He also has the Five of Swords challenge card, which lets you enable modifiers for Nightfall Strikes.

Ceberus+1 (Auto Rifle)

If you want an option that lets you lay down all kinds of fire, Ceberus+1 is the gun for you. The auto rifle sports four barrels that all fire at once, although the spray of bullets is a bit erratic. You can narrow the field of fire by aiming down the sights, but this is a great gun for crowd control and wailing on lots of enemies at once.

Lucky Pants (Hunter)

Hunters get some Cayde-6-style support for hand cannons with Lucky Pants. When you land precision hits with any gun, the pants automatically load one round into your stowed hand cannon, and your hand cannons ready faster and are more accurate when you swap to them. Lucky Pants are basically a cool holster for a hand cannon, but you’ll want a reliable secondary weapon to get the most out of them.

Heart Of Innermost Light (Titan)

You get a lot of benefit from using your Titan abilities with Heart of Innermost Light. Whenever you use a grenade, Barricade, or melee ability, your other two abilities are empowered–they have faster regeneration, with your grenades and melees doing more damage, while your Barricades have more hit points. That makes this a solid all-around Exotic for most activities if you don’t have something you like better, either in PvE or the Crucible.

Felwinter’s Helm (Warlock)

For Warlocks, Felwinter’s Helm is a useful Exotic for PvE activities. Whenever you make Arc, Solar, or Void melee kills, you create a burst of energy that weakens nearby enemies. When you kill powerful enemies or use a finisher, the radius of the burst expands and the weakening effect lasts longer.
