Watch Capcom’s new Resident Evil Showcase

Capcom will reveal more about Resident Evil Village, and promises “other surprises,” during a new Resident Evil Showcase digital event on Thursday, April 15. Resident Evil fans will get a chance to check in with the Tall Vampire Lady (aka Lady Dimitrescu) at 6 p.m. EDT/3 p.m. PDT, when the stream goes live on Capcom’s YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and Facebook channels.

As with the company’s Resident Evil Showcase event in January, Brittney Brombacher of What’s Good Games will serve as host. Resident Evil Village producer Tsuyoshi Kanda and director Morimasa Sato will also appear in the presentation.

It’s a big year for Resident Evil. In addition to Resident Evil Village coming to Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One in May, Capcom’s survival horror franchise celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2021. Capcom also has a new Resident Evil animated series called Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness coming to Netflix in 2021, and a new live-action film is slated to hit movie theaters later this year.

There are also rumors of more Resident Evil remakes, with Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica on deck, and rumors of a new Resident Evil Revelations game.
