How to change looting on Call of Duty: Warzone to tap on console

An important aspect of any battle royale is looting speed. As soon as players land, the race for the best weapons and equipment is on. Many Call of Duty: Warzone players have criticized the speed at which they can loot. This is because the default setting requires players to “hold” their button. However, this can be changed so players can simply “tap” to pick up loot quickly and efficiently.

How to tap to interact on Xbox One and PS4

The settings that allow you to tap to pick up loot are easy to adjust by following these steps:

          • Begin by opening up the options menu.
          • Navigate across to the controller tab within the options menu.
          • Scroll down to weapons where the use/reload behavior option can be changed.
          • Select the Contextual Tap option.

Once the settings have been changed, the looting process will be smoother. Players will certainly notice a difference in the time it takes to loot throughout the game. Also, it may take a while for players to adjust to this new setting, but over time, Call of Duty: Warzone fans may find it easier to use.

In addition, the Contextual Tap setting alters how players interact with other in-game features. These include reloading and interacting with doors, which will require players to also tap. So, not only does the Contextual Tap speed up the looting process, but it can make reloading and navigating around buildings faster.

Since the release of Warzone, many players have found a variety of ways in which in-game features can be used to their advantage. For example, it was discovered that calling in three separate UAVs at once acts as the equivalent of an advanced UAV. This allows players to clearly see every enemy on the map.
