Overwatch has new music and a new event featuring Sigma

A new Overwatch event will begin on July 14, 2020. Sigma’s Maestro Challenge will give players an opportunity to unlock exclusive content for Sigma to commemorate Overwatch’s new soundtrack. Here’s what you need to know about the event and how to participate and earn rewards, like the new Maestro skin for Sigma.

Sigma’s Maestro Challenge

Details haven’t been fully released for Sigma’s Maestro Challenge quite yet, but chances are it will be similar to past events like D.Va’s Nano Cola Challenge and Ana’s Bastet Challenge. In these challenges, players had to win matchmade games to earn rewards. Players earned rewards at three wins, six wins, and nine wins.

If the pattern holds true, players can expect to earn an icon, a spray, and a skin at three, six, and nine wins respectively. The skin will be Maestro Sigma, and it will not be available outside of this event. So, if you want to get your hands on it, make sure to check the event out in Overwatch tomorrow.

New Music

In addition to the in-game Overwatch challenge, fans can stream a teaser for new Overwatch-themed music on YouTube. Overwatch: Cities & Countries is a new soundtrack by Derek Duke and Adam Burgess released around the world. The soundtrack features music from the different maps in Overwatch.

You can find where you can stream the full soundtrack on Overwatch‘s official site. In North America, it is already on Spotify as of July 13, 2020, and you can find it by searching for the album’s title. Be sure to give it a listen if you can.

What is that melody? A new collection of Overwatch music!
