Ubisoft and FACEIT Expand R6 Amateur Competitive Platform to Brazil – The Esports Observer

Ubisoft and the online competitive gaming manager FACEIT have announced that their platform FPL for Rainbow Six Siege will now be available in Brazil. The platform, which is already available in Europe and North America, is exclusive for the best players of the game who want to have a better competitive experience, competing for a $2K USD prize pool each season.

The FPL R6 will be available in Brazil beginning May 14. Besides competing for the prize pool, players will also have the chance of playing with pro Rainbow Six Siege players and personalities, and even of becoming pro players themselves, as FPL tends to serve as a feeder ecosystem for finding new talent for the professional scene.

The Brazilian professional Rainbow Six Siege scene is one of the most competitive in the world, having global organizations such as Team Liquid, FaZe Clan, and Ninjas in Pyjamas fielding rosters in it alongside some of the main Brazilian esports teams.
