Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that Apex Legends servers are being attacked by an outside group.
From what has been shared by gamers this weekend, messages have been popping up during live matches which reads “Save Titanfall.”
According to those who have seen the message, it leads to error problems when trying to play or join live queues for servers.
The Apex Legends community is reporting issues on PC and PS4 platforms, and it appears that gamers are also seeing a message pointing them to a specific TitanFall website.
The latest update from Respawn confirms that the issues are being looked into across all platforms.
However, it’s unclear how long issues might last or which group might have organised tonight’s events.
Apex Legends tease the Fight Night Collection Event
The first message from Respawn reads: “We are aware of and actively investigating issues impacting @PlayApex playlists that are preventing players from getting into matches.
“We’ll provide hourly updates here until a fix is deployed and the problem resolved.”
And the latest update adds: “We’re testing a fix now and will update when we have more confidence. Additional updates may be required.
“In the meantime, we’ve determined that this attack—while disruptive—has not put players’ personal information or accounts at risk. More updates to come as we make progress.”
“We’re continuing to validate a fix. Thanks for hanging with us—the team remains hard at work on this.”
More news and updates are expected over the coming hours if tonight’s problems are not solved soon.
