Atomic Heart Is Coming To Game Pass

A new trailer for open-world RPG Atomic Heart premiered during Xbox’s E3 showcase, revealing that the game is coming to Game Pass.

Atomic Heart, developed by Mundfish, has been in development for more than five years. The first trailer for the game was released in July 2018, at which point a rumors on the Resetera message board claimed that development on the game had restarted after major layoffs at the studio.

The game, which draws inspiration from retro-future games like Fallout, is a single-player first-person shooter set in an alternate-history version of the Soviet Union sometime around 1955. In the world of Atomic Heart, modern and futuristic technology like the internet, robots, and cybernetic upgrades already exist in the ’50s. The gameplay trailer shows off a variety of powers and abilities like electric pulses, cables that come out of your hands to hack robots and pick locks, and even a spinning blade hand. The trailer also features the kind of strange-looking robots and mutants that the game has come to be known for from past trailers.

No release date has been given yet. Check out the new trailer for Atomic Heart below.
