Instead of having to wait until Season 2, Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans can continue the Zombies storyline in just a few weeks.
Last week, Treyarch announced that it was making Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s first season of content even bigger with a mid-season update.
Some of that content is now live in the game, such as a new map and Zombies mode, but Treyarch still has more planned for the coming weeks.
For instance, an all-new Zombies map is scheduled to drop on February 4, which will continue the Dark Aether storyline.
Following the successful destruction of the Projekt Endstation site in Poland, the new map will take Requiem to a place called Outpost 25, also known as Firebase Z, where another zombie outbreak has occurred.
Treyarch promises further details about Firebase Z later today, as January 15 marks 115 Day, an annual celebration of Call Of Duty Zombies.
There is also now a free trial specifically for the Zombies mode, available until January 21 for anyone who doesn’t own Black Ops Cold War.
It includes the Die Maschine map and the new Cranked mode, as well as the exclusive Onslaught mode for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 owners. Any progress made during the trial can be carried over to the full game.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
