Call Of Duty: Warzone Players Can Get The Adler Skin For Free After Failed Hunt For Adler Event

All Call of Duty: Warzone players will be given the Tortured and Rescued Adler skin for free after Raven Software messed up the Hunt for Adler event.

The event, which went live alongside Warzone’s third season and the Verdansk ‘84 map, tasked players with finding three pieces of intel spread across the map in return for a Tortured and Rescued Adler skin. Unfortunately, it suffered a number of technical issues like challenge completion tracking and intel spawning outside the playable area. As a result, Raven has given away the skin to all players for free. The new skin can be found in the Operators menu tab of the game.

The developer did issue a patch to fix these problems, but it was towards the end of the event, leaving many players unable to complete the event and grab the reward. “Starting right now and until the end of Season Three, anyone who logs into #Warzone will be granted the ‘Tortured & Rescued’ Adler Skin. We’d like to thank everyone for participating in the Hunt for Adler limited time event and for being patient these past few days,” tweeted Raven.

While this was unfortunate for players who wanted to complete all the challenges, giving out the free skin was the right move by the developer.

Warzone players with a PlayStation Plus subscription are in for an additional treat as they can redeem a free Combat Pack to bring in Warzone’s third season. The Combat Pack features a number of items for Garcia, including an epic Comandante skin, an epic Authoritarian assault rifle weapon blueprint, and a Homeland or Death calling card. Some of the minor items in this pack are a Fallen Brush watch, cigar weapon charm, sovereignty emblem. Lastly, players will also get a 60 minute double XP token.

Another change may be coming to Warzone, this time focussed on the game’s fast travel system. According to a leaked survey, Verdansk ‘84 will be getting a ‘Red Door’ fast travel system. Before the map change, players would fast travel via subway systems, which are no longer available. The new system hasn’t been integrated into the map as of yet.
