Call of Duty: Warzone Players Get Limited Access To Modern Warfare Multiplayer This Weekend

Activision has announced that all players of the free-to-play Call of Duty: Warzone will be given limited access to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s multiplayer suite this weekend. Restricted to a single playlist with two maps, this teaser will let players from either game mingle together and test their mettle online and across all platforms.

If you’re looking for a reprieve from the 150-man free-for-all, keep an eye out for the “Stocked Up, Locked Down” playlist. You’ll be battling on “Atlas Superstore” and “Shoot House” maps with any progress made carrying over to the main Modern Warfare (if you purchase it later down the line). Modes available include Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, and Headquarters.

One of the benefits of trying out the regular multiplayer will be to test perks in a closed environment. Warzone features a massive map where battles aren’t that frequent. It sucks to get a perk you know nothing about then get killed before you can really understand it. With this free weekend, you can change that.

If you already have the Warzone client downloaded, you won’t need to grab anything else. Just hop into the playlist and start fragging. Just remember to take breaks every now and then.
