Last week’s Xbox Store sale featured a bunch of racing games, but if you aren’t a fan of going vroom vroom, there wasn’t much for you. This week is different, as three new sales offer a wide selection of Xbox One games for stellar prices. There’s the Focus Home Interactive publisher sale with the best price we’ve seen on A Plague Tale: Innocence, the Super Saver sale with hundreds of bargain prices on past hits, and the ID@Xbox Game Fest sale with an eclectic selection of beloved indies.
The Super Saver sale contains the majority of this week’s Xbox One deals. Here you can find AAA hits of years past for low prices. In the mood for a lengthy open-world action game? Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition is down to $15, and Watch Dogs 2 is a steal at $7.49. If you’re looking for great value, BioShock: The Collection is just $12, and Batman: Arkham Collection is down to $18. Three of 2019’s most popular games are also on sale for great prices. Borderlands 3 Deluxe Edition is 50% off at $40, The Division 2 is just $9.89, and Control, one of GameSpot’s favorite games of 2019, is discounted to $30.
Focus Home Interactive’s publisher sale is led by A Plague Tale: Innocence for the ultralow price of $12.49. A Plague Tale was also one of our favorite games last year. The sterling adventure follows a pair of siblings who must outmaneuver Inquisition soldiers during the Hundred Years’ War, all the while dealing with swarms of Bubonic Plague-infected rats. The under-the-radar 2019 action-RPG The Surge 2 is also available for cheap at only $15.
The ID@Xbox Game Fest sale presents a great opportunity to snag some indie games you may have missed out on. The brilliant side-scrolling platformer Celeste is 50% off at $10, and a slew of narrative-focused adventures are up for grabs for low prices. What Remains of Edith Finch is $10, Firewatch is $5, and Gone Home is $7.49.
You can browse all of this week’s deals at the Xbox Store and check out our picks below. All three sales run through May 25. The Xbox Store is far from the only storefront with great deals right now. The PlayStation Store is hosting multiple PS4 game sales, Fanatical is discounting thousands of PC games, and the Epic Game Store’s Mega sale is in full swing, where you can grab Grand Theft Auto V for free on PC.
