You Can Now Buy Final Fantasy VII Remake’s Canceled Live-Event Merch Online

Last month, Square Enix kicked off an event at the Tokyo Skytree to celebrate the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake. While temporarily closed from March 1-15, the event has been abruptly canceled due to Japan declaring a nationwide state of emergency. Originally planned to end on April 22, fans are now missing out on the chance to celebrate their love of this series.

Thankfully, that merch isn’t going to waste. Through the official Japanese Square Enix website, fans of Final Fantasy will be able to purchase all of the items that would have been on sale. Maybe it sucks that people couldn’t gather together and share their love of Cloud’s spiky hair, but at least you won’t have to miss out on cool goodies.

Some of the merch (like the Cloud t-shirt) is actually available through Square Enix’s American store, but other pieces are exclusive to this event. It might seem silly to pay import fees to nab pins from an event that never really happened, but that’s just the reality we live in.

If you intend to grab anything, know that purchases over $46 will include another special bonus with them. All items are a limited time deal, too, so don’t wait if something catches your eye. It could be gone before you know it.
