7-Eleven is teaming up with PlayStation to offer a bizarre, overnight gaming experience to a couple of lucky fans. As if that collaboration wasn’t strange enough, Airbnb and even Dak Prescott are also getting in on the action.
The popular convenience store is gearing up to open another 7-Eleven Evolution Store – one of only six around the country – that serves as an “experiential testing ground where customers can try 7-Eleven’s latest innovations in a revolutionary store format.” Before it opens to the public, however, the company is turning the shop into a gaming paradise.
Inside the revolutionary 7-Eleven you’ll find the following:
- A game pod with a big screen TV and luxury loungers
- An exclusive one-hour Twitch session with FaZe Temperrr
- Access to a PS5 console and various games
- Access to 7-Eleven drinks and snacks
The night will be virtually hosted by Dak Prescott of NFL fame. Sign-ups go live on Airbnb on February 1 and will let you and one friend stay the night. Only two dates are available – February 26 and February 28 – and you’ll need to be a resident of Dallas County, Texas. If all that checks out, you can book your stay for just $11.
“Everyone knows that the PlayStation 5 console launch has been one of the biggest headlines in the gaming world the past few months,” said Marissa Jarratt, 7-Eleven Chief Marketing Officer. ” The ultimate gamers’ console warranted an experience just as exclusive in our newest 7-Eleven Evolution Store – our ultimate retail environment. We can’t wait to immerse a few gamers in the limitless world of 7-Eleven.”
While getting your hands on a PS5 hasn’t been easy, it sounds like landing a night at this luxurious 7-Eleven will be even more difficult. It’s definitely one of the more unique promotions in recent memory – seriously, how can you top Airbnb, Dak Prescott, 7-Eleven, and Sony – although it looks like a fun way to get your hands on Sony’s elusive console.
