The weekly Exotic item merchant, Xur, hangs out in random locations around the world of Destiny. In Destiny 2, he can appear all over the map, as well as inside the Tower. This week, you can find Xur on Nessus, north of the Watcher’s Grave landing zone, standing on Calus’ barge.

Hard Light
Hard Light is one of the best guns in Destiny 2 right now. Its Exotic perk, Volatile Light, causes the projectiles fired to have no damage fall-off at range, and to pierce targets and ricochet off walls. Shots that bounce off of walls deal bonus damage. Hard Light can also shift between all three elemental types by holding down the reload button.
Hard Light is a great gun for matching elements in a Nightfall or for PvP. It’s currently the most popular gun in the Trials of Osiris gametype. Pick this up if you don’t have it.
Gwisin Vest
Gwisin Vest is a new Hunter chest from the Forsaken expansion. Its main perk, Roving Assassin, refunds Super energy after getting a kill and reentering stealth. This is a powerful PvP Exotic. Pick it up if you’d rather run and slash than Shadowshot players.
Xur’s roll this week is Solar, and comes with 49 total stats.

Hallowfire Heart
Hallowfire Heart is a great Titan Exotic. The main perk is Sunfire Furnace, which improves the recharge rate of your abilities when Hammer of Sol is charged.
Hallowfire Heart will only benefit you when you are holding onto your Super and not using it — it definitely takes some getting used to. This is one of our favorite Titan exotics nonetheless, and can be really powerful if you learn how to use it.
Xur’s roll this week is Solar, and comes with 49 total stats.
Apotheosis Veil
Apotheosis Veil is a returning exotic to Destiny 2, re-added in the Warmind expansion. When activating your Super, your health, grenade, Rift, and melee energy will all instantly refill. Nearby allies also regenerate some of their class ability energy. This helmet is fine at best. There are so many good Warlock exotics out there that we’re honestly unsure when this helmet would ever be your best bet.
Arc, and comes with 52 total stats.
