The Walking Dead comic series ended abruptly in 2019, and if you’ve ever wanted to get into reading the 16-year series, then now’s the perfect time. Humble Bundle has an excellent bundle with multiple tiers that encompass the entire series, from volume 1 to 32 and its short stories. The Walking Dead bundle is available until May 20, giving you plenty of time to decide how much of the bundle you want to purchase.
If you only want to dip your toes into The Walking Dead to start, then you can just pay $1 to get the first five volumes and a series of short stories created specifically for Free Comic Book Day 2013. Paying $8 or more gets you the next eight volumes as well as The Walking Dead: Survivor’s Guide, while paying $15 or more will bring you up through volume 23. If you want the entire series, in addition to The Walking Dead: All Out War AP Edition and The Walking Dead: Here’s Negan, then you only need to pay $18 or more.
You don’t have to pay $18 up front, however. You can start at one of the lower tiers and increase your payment later if you decide you want to grab the rest of The Walking Dead’s volumes. Like all of Humble’s bundles, you’re also able to choose where your money goes: to publisher Image Comics, Humble, or charity. This bundle benefits the Book Industry Charitable Foundation, which helps book and comic book store employees when they’re met with “unexpected financial crises.”
“The Binc Foundation works to keep book people in their homes, in their jobs, and with their families–stabilizing the brick and mortar bookstore community,” the charity’s mission statement reads. “The Foundation is the only 501(c)(3) in the country dedicated exclusively to strengthening the book industry by supporting the people who work in bookstores and comics shops.”
