ARK GENESIS RELEASE TIME CONFIRMED
An update from the developer at Studio Wildcard has confirmed the release time plans for the games big expansion.
The ARK Genesis release time has been set for 4pm PT on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.
If you're one of the many millions of players who enjoy the game over in the United States, it's great news, because you'll have all night to delve into the new game.
As for those in the UK and Europe. It's slightly less positive, with this meaning that the update will drop at Midnight on February 26. Or 1am for those in Europe.
Unless you've booked tomorrow off and have a lot of energy drinks to hand, we figure you'll probably have to wait until the next day to enjoy what Studio Wildcard has to offer.
A word of warning though, if you can, try to stay up late so you can download the new update before the going to bed. That way the game is ready for you in the morning.
At the time of writing, it's not known how big the ARK Genesis update will be, but we're betting it's fairly sizeable. So you may as well download it overnight whilst you sleep.

Original Story Follows – The next big ARK Survival Evolved content update is coming this week, with Studio Wildcard finally set to launch the ARK Genesis DLC on PS4, Xbox One and Steam (PC).
Players of the game will be no doubt relieved to see the game finally launch this new update after months of delays.
The Genesis DLC was intended to release late last year, in December 2019, but the developer, unfortunately, had to delay the release for extra polish.
Writing at the time, Studio Wildcard told fans of the open-world survival game:
“We know things have been a bit quiet on Genesis news for the past few weeks, even though there is much more to show you, we’ve been deeply immersed in the pre-release development process.
“This additional delay will no doubt come as a disappointment to everyone who is eagerly awaiting Genesis.
“We’re extremely sorry to push it back an extra month, but as we have been heads-down with the rest of the team polishing, balancing and putting the final pieces together, we really felt that the extra wait will be worth it both for the quality of the base game and the ambitious new expansion.”
As we say though, this update is finally launching this week and should introduce a plethora of new content to the game for fans to enjoy should they purchase the games new Genesis Season Pass.

WHEN IS THE ARK GENESIS RELEASE DATE?
ARK Survival Evolved Genesis (Part 1) is released on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.
The Genesis Season Pass costs £29.99 on PS4 and Xbox One. It can be purchased online from either the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Xbox Store.
On Steam the ARK Genesis Season Pass costs £27.79. Follow the link to buy the expansion on Steam.
The second Genesis expansion is set to release "Winter 2020".
It sounds obvious but for anyone who might be wondering, yes, the ARK Genesis content requires the base game, ARK: Survival Evolved, in order to play.
WHAT TIME IS ARK GENESIS RELEASED?
Though Studio Wildcard has not shared an exact time for when ARK Genesis will be going live, the games Lead Community Manager, Cedric (@ComplexMinded)has shared some updates online.
If all goes to plan ARK Genesis should be released at 10AM PST on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.
For those in the UK that means the ARK Genesis update should go live at 18:00 (6pm).
It's worth mentioning though that the above is just a rough 'plan' and as with all updates there's the potential for delays.
Fielding questions online, one fan of the game asked the Lead Community Manager if it will genuinely arrive at 10AM PST, citing the Extinction update as similar example which ended up going live some 7 hours later.
In response, Cedric explained: "It is scheduled to go out at 10. There are things that are not in your control (the movement of the update through third party systems for publishing). If anything changes with that, I'll try to give you a heads up."
