Call Of Duty: Warzone’s Trios option was removed only a couple of days ago, but players’ complaints has led to it being reinstated.
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare’s third season of content began earlier in the week, which brought with it new multiplayer maps and lots of other new content.
This also included a number of updates for the free-to-play battle royale Warzone, such as Riley, the German Shepherd from Call Of Duty: Ghosts (who can be summoned as a finishing move to kill an opponent) and a new Quads mode, allowing players to compete in four-man squads.
However, in a somewhat bizarre move, the inclusion of Quads meant that Infinity Ward removed the Trios option, which allowed you to make teams of three.
Reportedly, you can only play Trios in the battle royale mode and not the Plunder mode. Players had also discovered that the new floor loot that was added for Quads wasn’t appearing in Trios, but this has since been fixed.
As for the leaked Duos mode, which Activison itself appeared to inadvertently tease, there is still no official word on when that will be added, but we can probably expect it sometime this season.
Developer Infinity Ward has released a roadmap for Season 3 but it’s pretty vague and doesn’t reveal what any of the new modes will be for Warzone… except the leaked info on Duos.
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call Of Duty: Warzone are available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
