The 2020 North American Overwatch League All-Stars competition is just around the corner, which can only mean one thing: new legendary skins. This year D.Va and Reinhardt are the lucky duo set to receive a unique All-Stars makeover. You can grab the exclusive skins for yourself from September 29 until October 12. Despite the relatively narrow window, getting the D.Va and Reinhardt All-Stars skins is pretty easy — here’s how you can add them to your collection.
The skins are not linked to any specific challenge or task that players need to complete. Instead, you simply need Overwatch League (OWL) Tokens to purchase them from the Overwatch store. Each of the skins costs 200 OWL Tokens and can be purchased directly from the in-game store (simply click the “Shop” button on the title screen of Overwatch). If you don’t have enough tokens to grab the skins, there are two methods of quickly obtaining more.
The easiest method for getting OWL Tokens is to purchase them in the store. For $5, players can nab 100 tokens. Given that the skins cost 200 OWL Tokens each, you can get one for $10 or both for $20. To spend tokens in the shop, just click the “Unlock” button next to the skin, which will automatically purchase it and equip it to the relevant hero.
However, if you don’t have enough spare cash for tokens or simply don’t want to spend more money on cosmetics, you can also collect OWL Tokens by watching Overwatch League Games on the official website or mobile app. For every hour of live view time you accrue, you net 5 OWL Tokens. If you tune in to the North American All-Stars event on October 3 alone, you’ll likely rack up a pretty decent amount of tokens. Plus, if you tune in to the Overwatch League Grand Finals (October 8 – October 10), you’ll probably be able to benefit from other opportunities to gain tokens — it’s the last big event of the season, and there will likely be some unique and easy ways to earn tokens free of charge.
That’s pretty much all there is to it. You can catch the All-Star events via the Overwatch League YouTube channel, mobile app, or website when it kicks off on October 3, which will allow you to start accruing tokens to spend on the new skins.
